SSU Medical Institute delegation headed by Vladyslav Smiianov (the Head of the Medical Institute of SSU) participated in the coordination meeting of the ePBLnet project (Tempus III) and took part in the 3^rd Central Asian Medical Education Conference in Kazakhstan on the 2^nd-7^th of October, 2015.

SSU held the meeting with young experts from Germany, Poland and Ukraine within the International German-Polish-Ukrainian project called ‘Europe in a Suitcase’ on October 9, 2015. The meeting was held in the form of a dialogue. SSU students and the experts discussed Ukrainian stereotypes concerning Europe, the peculiar features of the Ukrainian and European mentality, the role of the youth in state building.

The 5^th International Conference ‘Nanomaterials: Applications and Properties’ was held by SSU with the help of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Lublin University of Technology and Kaunas University of Technology. Scientists from 11 countries such as Poland, Slovenia, France, Holland, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, Ukraine, Switzerland, Spain and Egypt took part in this conference.

On October 7 a seminar “Research opportunities in the U.S.” was held at SSU. The Director of the “Kharkiv Osvita” Educational Advising Center (Education USA Advising Center) Natalya Bulgakova held the meeting with graduate students, teachers, and scientists.
