Bachelor and Master Programmes of Finance and Credit Department that belongs to the Faculty of Economics and Management of SSU got the status of syllabi accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
This status was granted after the appropriate accreditation procedure of universities’ syllabi. In many countries all around the world the practice of accreditation of universities’ syllabi for the ACCA qualification is very common, and it is also very popular among students. Sumy State University is one of the first universities in Ukraine that succeeded significantly following this path.
"Finances and Credit" Master Programme ACCA accreditation with "Accounting and Business" study course additionally gives the right to pass such exams as F6 - Taxation and F7 - Financial Reporting.
As a result those students of SSU, studying according to the syllabi, accredited by ACCA, have significant benefits for getting the international professional qualification, recognized in 180 countries.

Additional ACCA tests and exams provide students of accredited syllabi with a number of advantages. First of all, students have the opportunity to use the knowledge gained during the study course of accredited syllabus for the simultaneous approaching membership in ACCA. SSU syllabi accreditation by ACCA accelerates the professional certification of future financiers obtaining ACCA qualification and studying at SSU at the same time.
Besides, it provides a unique opportunity for Ukrainian students to get diplomas of Oxford Brookes University or University of London, as ACCA has some common diploma programmes with these universities.
It is possible to get these certificates on the basis of tests of accredited ACCA syllabus and studying according to the additional syllabus without traveling abroad.
