It is intended for measurements of the linear sizes, the form, orientation, and other parameters of nanostructures and a microrelief of surfaces of various objects.

Allows you to study the nano characteristics of metals and alloys; oxidation/corrosion; welding, polishing; magnetic materials and superconductors; ceramic, composite, and polymeric materials; geological sections, minerals; soft materials: polymers, pharmaceuticals, filters, gels, tissues, plant materials, etc., as well as to conduct elemental analysis of the test sample by X-ray energy dispersion spectroscopy.

  • study the stress state of matter;
  • investigate the texture and conduct a phase analysis;
  • to study the structural changes that occur in deformed metals when heated;
  • determine the amorphousness of the substance.

Allows to carry out the express qualitative and quantitative analysis of the structure of metal alloys, powders, liquids, deposits on filtering elements, bioassays, foodstuff on the content of chemical elements from Na (atomic number Z = 11) to U (Z = 92) in a wide range of concentrations.

Features of ElvaX Light SDD:

The accuracy of mass fractions of metals is not worse than 0.1%.

The limits of detection of impurities of heavy metals in the light matrix are not worse than 1 ppm.
