The student of SSU, athlete Serhiy Smelyk (Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications) won the silver award in the 6th CISM World Military Games held on October 8, 2015 (Mungyeong, South Korea).

On October 7, 2015 SSU held the round-table meeting with the participants of the “Active Citizens” programme founded by British Council in Ukraine on the role of university in regional development and the best SSU social initiatives.

The specialist of Philosophy, Politology and Innovative Social Technologies Department, Julia Saveljeva took part in the conference called “The urban movements and their understanding of democracy in the countries of the Visegrad Group and in Ukraine” (Budapest, Hungary).

The staff member of Pathomorphology Department of SSU Medical Institute, Roman Moskalenko completed the doctoral research on his dissertation using modern equipment at the Umeå University (Sweden).
