IX International scientific and practical conference "Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing" was held by SSU on September 24-25, 2015. The initiator of the conference was Marketing and Innovative Activity Department.

The event was attended by representatives of 36 universities and research organizations, including 4 foreign ones. The representatives of Belarus (Vitebsk, Grodno), Poland (Bielsko-Biala, Czestochowa) and Ukraine (Sumy, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Kryvyi Rig, Kramatorsk Krasnoarmeysk, Mariupol, Severodonetsk, Slovyansk) took part in this conference. The conference materials also included research and development projects of representatives of domestic enterprises and organizations.

Professors of Lviv Polytechnic National University and the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” joined the online conference.

The conference included five sections: “Marketing Innovations”, “Innovations in Marketing”, “Innovative Management”, “Problems of Innovative Development”, “Marketing of Ecological Innovations”.

The reports covered a number of methodological and theoretical aspects of marketing innovations, marketing of ecological innovations and management of marketing risks of innovations.

Two SSU scientists - Ph.D., associate professor of Economics and Business Administration Department, Leonid Taranyuk and Ph.D., associate professor of the same department, Elena Shkarupa presented their reports ("Methodological provisions on reengineering business processes of industrial enterprises" and "Marketing strategy for ecological modernization of socio-economic systems") on the first day of the conference.

On the second day of the conference the participants discussed the prospects of digital marketing in Ukraine. In particular they discussed the following topics: "The evolution of approaches to promoting cloud services for business automation" (Ph.D., associate professor of Marketing and Management of Innovative Activity Department, Alexander Karpishchenko), "SMS as the way of attracting future students to the university" (post-graduate student of the same department, Anna Derykolenko), "The importance of rational investing in the development of Internet communications marketing based on the example of B2C - "Avtormira Studio” (alumnus of Marketing and Management of Innovative Activity Department, Dmitry Korinchenko).

In general, 43 representatives of SSU submitted their materials for publication. The collective monograph will be published by the results of work of IX International scientific and practical conference "Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing". The best reports will be published in the professional journal called "Marketing and Management of Innovations» (№4, 2015), which is indexed by many international scientometric databases.
