The representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Management of SSU visited Poland during the work-related trip (13^th-20^th of October). The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Olha Prokopenko and the Head of the Department of Marketing and Management of Innovative Activities Serhii Illiashenko took part in the International scientific conference and presented their reports.

The teacher of the Department of Germanic Philology, Vitalii Dorda, successfully completed the teaching mobility at the University of Porto (Portugal) within EMINENCE II project of EU Programme Erasmus Mundus. During the one-month stay abroad Vitalii Dorda acquired the European experience of teaching of foreign languages, participated in sociolinguistic research and conducted classes in English and Linguistics.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and management Olha Prokopenko (Doctor of Economics, Professor) was given a rank of the Honorary Professor of the Mother Teresa of Calcutta School in Żywiec for contribution in scientific and didactic cooperation development between the school and SSU, personal scientific achievements, active participation in conferences and a great contribution in science popularization.

The senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Nataliia Dolgova (PhD in Pedagogical Sciences) became a prizewinner of the IX Jerzy Giedroyc Competition for the best diploma, Master's and PhD theses dedicated to the history and modern life of Poland and the Polish-Ukrainian relations. For her thesis called ‘Modernization of Physical Education and Sports in the University Education of Poland’ the SSU representative received not only a diploma, but also a special award.
