On the 7th-9th of October the Master student of SSU Medical Institute Kateryna Diedkova took part in the International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Doctors – Pleven (Bulgaria). The report called ‘Impact of different chitosan-based materials on blood cells’ coagulation’ was recognized as the best in the Fundamental Medicine Section.
The work is dedicated to the study and research of new materials concerning bleeding stop in large-caliber arteries. Maksym Pohorielov (Doctor of Medical Sciences) was the scientific adviser of the student.
Scientists, doctors, students and post-graduate students from more than 10 countries, including Germany, France, Romania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Japan and the USA participated in this conference.
