New opportunities for our students: SSU signed an agreement with the IT-company

Sumy State University begins cooperation with the international IT-company AMC Bridge. On October 23 the partnership agreement was signed at SSU. According to this agreement SSU students will have an internship at the IT-company; they may also be hired by it in the future.

AMC Bridge representatives consider the cooperation with SSU to be promising, while the company needs highly qualified IT-specialists, who can be found at the Faculty of Electronics and Informational Technologies.

According to the first vice-rector Vasyl D. Karpusha, the cooperation with future employers gives the opportunity to students to gain practical experience and head for the demands of the labor market.

The participants of the conference had a chance to get familiar with current projects, technologies and products developed by students. Besides, the guests talked about the digital world and modern trends in the sphere of information technologies.

Over 15 years AMC Bridge has been providing services in the areas of the software development for computer-aided design, engineering and manufacturing, working with such companies as Microsoft, Siemens and Autodesk. The company develops the cooperation with higher education institutions. The company’s head office is situated in the USA. There are 2 AMC Bridge Development Centers in Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk and Khmelnytskyi). The new Development Center will be operating in Sumy.
