SSU teachers gained victory at the International badminton tournament among veterans and amateurs ‘Slobozhansky Autumn – 2015’ held on the 6th – 8th of November. The senior teacher of Foreign Languages Department Oksana Hladchenko and the senior teacher of Department of Physical Education and Sports Antonina Siryk took the first place in the women's doubles category 45+.

The training center of Sumy IT-company MindK will operate at SSU. The cooperation agreement was signed on November 4, 2015. According to this agreement SSU students can have an internship and training at the company with the possibility of future employment. The founder and the head of the company Oleh Nesterov, who has graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of SSU considers the strategic cooperation to be quite interesting.

The Head of the Department of Nanoelectronics of SSU Oleksandr Pohrebniak was awarded the title of an Honorary Professor of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University for his personal contribution to the development of scientific and international activities of the university. The university is situated in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Kazakhstan.

On the 18^th–21^st of October the teachers’ delegation of the Department of Human Anatomy from SSU completed the training at the Academic Society of Michal Baludansky in Bratislava (Slovakia). It dealt with the promising areas of scientific research and modern teaching methods.
