Student Friendship Football Cup brings together Ukrainian and foreign students

SSU Ukrainian and foreign students and the students of Sumy National Agrarian University met in the football tournament at the Barsa football center. The competitions for Student Friendship Football Cup were held on October 25. The representatives of Turkmenistan, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uzbekistan, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan and Ukraine took part in it.

Five teams formed by casting of lots played against each other in A and B groups, so in such a way semifinalists and finalists were determined. The students from Uzbekistan and the African continent fought for the third place. In the final the Ukrainians played against the students from Palestine, Iraq and Jordan.

Finally, the Ukrainian students were victorious. The representatives of Arab countries took the second place. The students from Uzbekistan were on the third place. Prize winners were awarded with cups, medals and certificates. The Department of Work with the Students in Hostels organized the whole thing.
