Sumy State University strengthens its positions in the scientific and educational space of Europe and Central Asia

According to the QS rankings, it is the second year in a row that Sumy State University is ranked fourth among Ukrainian universities and is included to the Top-90 universities in the EECA region (Emerging Europe and Central Asia).

QS EECA University Rankings is one of the regional rankings of the QS company, aimed at the study of higher education institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, Poland, the Czech Republic, Turkey and the Post-Soviet states. Among over 3500 universities, belonging to the EECA region, only about 250 universities were included to the QS rankings, and 15 of them were located in Ukraine.

The ranking methodology is based on surveys of more than 70,000 academic experts and 40,000 employers from the whole world, scientometric indices of the Scopus database, performance indices of universities’ web resources, quantitative and qualitative indices of staff and students’ ratio.

Let us remind you, that this year six Ukrainian universities completed the QS EECA University Rankings, and Sumy State University took the fourth position.
