International Day of Peace at SSU

SSU volunteers organized an art-exhibition “What does peace mean to me?” on the International Day of Peace, 21 September. Everyone had an opportunity to draw in color their own associations with “peace” on the University central square. All drawings were placed at the thematic stand.

During the event volunteers informed participants about the history of the International Day of Peace and handed out blue and yellow symbolic palm “I am for peace”. The same event was held at SSU Medical Institute.

The International Day of Peace aims to make people not only think about the world but also to do something for it.
