September 24th – Sumy State University welcomed Dr. Iryna Shalaginova, the Head of the International Relations Office of the University of Koblenz-Landau. Dr. Iryna Shalaginova, administration and leading scientists of SSU discussed results of the inter-university cooperation and prospects of its strengthening.

It is the second year in a row that Sumy State University has got into 3% of the best universities in the world, getting the fourth place among Ukrainian universities and confirming its position in the QS ranking despite some drastic changes in the ranking methodology and extension of universities.

SSU volunteers organized an art-exhibition “What does peace mean to me?” on the International Day of Peace, 21 September. Everyone had an opportunity to draw in color their own associations with “peace” on the University central square. All drawings were placed at the thematic stand.

Being one of the most dynamic universities in Ukraine Sumy State University has got the entire page in an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Company. This is the first Ukrainian university, published in the “QS World University Rankings”.
