Sumy State University Enhances its Leadership

In accordance with Webometrics Ranking of World Universities SSU occupies the 5th place among the Ukrainian universities, and enters the 10% of the best world universities (under the information of June 2015 SSU obtained the 6th place among the Ukrainian HEIs).

The Webometrics Ranking has been acting for 12 years, and examines nearly 20,000 world universities, including 295 from Ukraine. Thus, Webometrics is one of the oldest and largest rankings of world universities. The Head of the Laboratory and the editor-in-chief of the Rankings Doctor Isidro F. Aguillo mentioned web-space as the most important sphere of academic communication, training, information activities and so on in the 21 century. So Webometrics Ranking evaluates not the quality or popularity of universities' websites, but the level of innovation and technology of the university.

Remind that according to the Web Ranking 4ICU Sumy State University occupies the 6th place among Ukrainian universities that correlates with the results of other known rankings.
