SSU sportswomen won three “bronze” medals at IBU Summer Biathlon World Championships

SSU master student Yulia Jima and graduate student Olga Abramova got onto the winner’s podium at the SBWCH. 

In the women's race Olga Abramova became the champion. She reached the finish line in 30 minutes 44.6 seconds. Even five misses at the firing line could not stop her. (3 + 0 + 0 + 2).

Yulia Jima won "bronze", showing the result of 31 minutes 54.3 seconds (0 + 1 + 0 + 1).

These events were held on August 30 in Romania. The second place was taken by representative of Poland Monika Hojnisz.

Furthermore, Olga Abramova was noted as the winner at the sprint race.
