This year 20 BA, MA and PhD students, postdoc researchers and teachers are taking part in EU Erasmus Mundus programme (Eminence, Eminence II, IANUS II and BACKIS projects). Leading universities in Poland, France, Italy, Portugal, Latvia and Romania host representatives of Sumy State University.

Valeria Bilenko, a junior student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, will study two semesters at the University of Porto (Portugal). Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) will host a junior student of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Yaroslav Sotnyk (2 semesters) and a master student of the Faculty of Economics and Management Kateryna Ovsiienko (1 semester).

Eight PhD students will do ten-month internship. Vladyslav Reva (Department of General and Theoretical Physics), Vladislav Rogoz (Department of Nanoelectronics) and Vasyl Kuhuk (Department of Applied mechanics) will study at NanoBioMedical Centre of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). Artem Demyanenko (Department of Nanoelectronics) will start an internship at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Artem Shamardyn (Department of Applied Physics) and Andrii Voznyy (Department of Electronics and Computer Technology) will study at Riga Technical University (Latvia). Moreover, last-year internship of Bogdan Postolnoi and Andrii Shypylenko, representatives of the Department of Nanoelectronics, was extended for additional 10-12 months.

SSU representatives will hold six-month overseas researches (Post Doc): Oleksandr Bondar (Department of Nanoelectronics) at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Yulia Halynska and Anna Shvindina (Department of Management) - Montpellier 2 University in France.

Six teachers will improve professional qualifications of teaching. Montpellier 2 University will host three teachers of the Department of Management: Svetlana Kolosok, Olga Dreval and Yulia Myroshnychenko. For one month Vitaliy Dorda (Department of Theory and Practice of Translation) will be hosted by the University of Porto, Igor Kobushko (Department of Finance and Credit) – by the Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania), and Maksym Demydenko (Department of Applied Physics) – by the Polytechnic University of Turin.
