Sumy State University student majored in “Jurisprudence” Bohdan Yadov won bronze at the Judo European Championship. The sports competition among juniors took place on June 25‑26 in Prague (the Czech Republic).

The master of sports participated in the weight category up to 66 kg. On the way to his cherished bronze Bohdan triumphed Norin Tatarescu from Moldova and Daniel Fulop from Hungary.

In accordance with the international University Web Ranking "4 International Colleges and Universities" (4ICU) Sumy State University occupies the 6th place among Ukrainian universities that correlates with the results of other known rankings.

The Web Ranking 4ICU is objected to present the information about the popularity of one or another university or college abroad to the international students and academic community.

Sumy State University delegation participated in the coordinating meeting and trainings on the EU Tempus project at the University of Koblenz-Landau (Germany), in particular TEMPUS NURE “Integrated information system of University management: EU experience on NIS countries’ ground” and TEMPUS INARM “Informatics and Management: Bologna-Style Qualification Frameworks.”

On July 22 in Sumy regional state administration the governance of Sumy region congratulated the SSU students with global achievements at the 1^st European Games (Baku, Azerbaijan) and at the 28^th World Summer Universiade 2015 (Gwangju, South Korea). Three silver and three bronze medals became the trophies of the SSU students' for the Ukrainian national team.
