The competition was held at SumDU swimming pool. There were more than 130 pupils and students among the participants. They competed for 60 sets of awards within three age categories, namely 2007 year of birth and younger, 2005-2006 year of birth, 2004 and older.

The amateur badminton tournament “14th Kumpoo Wave Amateurs Cup” took place in Kharkiv. The competition gathered nearly 100 participants, four of them represented Sumy State University.

On February 17th-19th 2020 the first coordination meeting within the project «QuaRSU: Qualifications recognition support for Ukrainian universities» of EU Erasmus+ programme of the direction “Capacity building of higher education” took place at SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) with participation of the workgroup representatives from SumDU.

The visit was initiated on the invitation of Polish Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies. The event called “New Possibilities. Old Threats” took place in the city of Rzeszow at the G2A Arena The Exhibition & Congress Centre of Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
