10th anniversary Rector’s Cup for swimming took place at SumDU

The competition was held at SumDU swimming pool. There were more than 130 pupils and students among the participants. They competed for 60 sets of awards within three age categories, namely 2007 year of birth and younger, 2005-2006 year of birth, 2004 and older.

Teams of Sumy (sports club of Sumy State University, complex children and youth sports school “Dynamo”, physical education and sports association “Dynamo”, complex children and youth sports school №1), teams of Shostka (“Patriot” and “Barsa” sports clubs), Chernihiv team (“Avanhard”) and teams of Kharkiv region (children and youth sports school “Komsomolske” and sports club “Gazovyk”) competed in the cup tournament.

In boys’ category the pupil of SumDU sports club swimming school Ivan Ivanov was an absolute winner of SumDU Rector’s Cup, while in girls’ category the victory was celebrated by the pupil of complex children and youth sports school “Dynamo” Daria Vasylenko.

The team of complex children and youth sports school “Dynamo” was the best at relay swimming. The “silver” award belongs to SSU sports club. The third place was taken by the representatives of complex children and youth sports school №1.
