SumDU students and teachers successfully performed in the Badminton Tournament

The amateur badminton tournament “14^th Kumpoo Wave Amateurs Cup” took place in Kharkiv. The competition gathered nearly 100 participants, four of them represented Sumy State University.

The fourth-year student of the Medical Institute Mohammed Ali Saithappe (India) the second-year student of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies Vladyslav Myronenko celebrated victory in the category “MD C”. Vladyslav Myronenko and the teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Antonina Siryk were also the first in the mixed category “XD C”. In the same category the teacher of the Foreign Languages Department Oksana Hladchenko and Mohammed Ali Saithappe won the second place. Apart from that, the team of Oksana Hladchenko and Antonina Siryk won gold awards in the women double categories “WD C” and “WD B”.
