On a Valentine’s Day SumDU volunteers – representatives of multinational student community – recorded a video clip with greetings in different world languages: Ukrainian, English, German, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish and Latin.

On February 11th, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Hanna Novosad visited Sumy State University. She got acquainted with the activities of the university on implementation of sustainable development in compliance with the priority of quality, examined the training and research laboratory of virtual and augmented reality "Ulab", learned about the possibilities of creating educational materials using a virtual background in a video studio of SumDU and with renewed Online Studio, which promotes a high-quality distance learning of students.

Ranking Web of Repositories by Webometrics identified Sumy State University repository as the best in Ukraine and in the world TOP-40.

Webometrics studies university repositories’ contribution to support of global policy of free access to scientific findings. According to the ranking methodology, the more scientific works the repository contains (which were not available in the Google Scholar database before, so-called primary versions), the higher is the contribution of the repository.

The book “Reducing Inequalities Towards Sustainable Development Goals: Multilevel Approach” was presented at SumDU Congress Center by its editors: Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Management of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management Hanna Shvindina and professor Medani P. Bhandari from the USA, who spoke online about the idea and his vision of the project to the meeting participants.
