On February 1^st, an educational center with the assistance of BROCODERS LLC was officially opened in the “N” academic building of Sumy State University. The center is equipped with modern computer and multimedia facilities, its task comprises implementing training and retraining of students and specialists in jointly created certification programs, promoting education, research and application development in the field of web-development and stationary applications.

Men’s Team Archery Championship of Ukraine took place in Kharkiv where the student of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology Artem Ovchynnikov and SumDU 2019 graduate Oleksii Hunbin achieved a victory.

SumDU for the 9^th time welcomed participants of the event traditionally organized by the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management in cooperation with SumDU Student Government, Department of Youth and Sports of Sumy Regional State Administration.

On 22nd-24th of January, SumDU Palace of Sports hosted the participants of the Ukrainian Sambo Championship among juniors,young men and women of older age. This tournament was the qualifying stage for the European and World Championships.
