SSU representatives took part in the final meeting of the INURE project of the EU Tempus Programme. The event was held on October 9 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Erasmus+ Office, bringing together the representatives of universities of Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnitskyi, Lutsk, Poltava and Sumy.

The project of the EU Tempus called ‘Integrated University Management System: EU Experience on NIS countries' ground (INURE)’ combined the efforts of the universities and the Ministries of Education of Moldova, Georgia, Belarus and European partners concerning the development of advanced models for the integrated university management systems.

The goal of the final meeting included the project results’ dissemination among the academic community in Ukraine, rendering recommendations for the development of the integrated university management system and representing printed and electronic materials on the best practices in domestic and foreign universities.

The Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work, international affairs and technical support Volodymyr O. Lyubchak, the Head of the International Affairs Office Kostyantyn I. Kyrychenko and the Head of the Center of Computer Technology Andrii Piven presented the results of the project’s implementation.

The participants became familiar with scientific edition called ‘Methodological basis of creation, implementation and development of integrated information university management system’. It deals with the design of integrated university management system, which provides automation of the basic management processes of studying, human resources, scientific research, and experience generalization of development, implementation and maintenance of these systems. It contains a systematic description of requirements for information systems of university management and summarizes the experience of several groups of developers from the European countries such as Germany, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.

As a result, the networks of modern IT-centers in universities-participants and its technical and methodical equipment were developed. These IT-centers are used in order to explore the modern technologies of integrated university management systems’ development and the implementation of these systems at European universities. The network of these centers provides further development of this field, professional skills upgrading of university administrative staff and exchange of experience.
