The Research Center for Regional Security of Sumy State University continues information work during the war. The center is a well-known analytical security center among the world community, so from the first days of the confrontation, the experts of the center have been commenting on the situation in Sumy, including SumDU.

In particular, the head of the Research Center for Regional Security Mykola NAZAROV gave an interview to the Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan, reporting how Sumy was fighting the Russian occupiers, as well as how the university worked in wartime. On March 15, Mykola NAZAROV was invited to the live broadcast of the British BBC radio to talk about the mood of Sumy residents, how the city authorities are coping with the preservation of critical infrastructure, as well as the operation of humanitarian corridors. The British journalist was very interested in the fate of foreign students of SumDU, who were safely evacuated to western Ukraine.

Representatives of foreign media are sincerely enthusiastic about the endurance of SumDU, its staff and students, wish the university further success and development of higher education in peacetime.
