European Commission announced the results of 2018 contest in the course of “The capacity building in higher education” within the EU ERASMUS+ Programme. In general there were 6 projects selected with Ukrainian representatives, among which were 2 projects with participation of Sumy State University.

The projects that will be implemented in Ukraine, are concentrated on the modernization of educational programs in the spheres of engineering and transport service, master programs for future judges, prosecutors, investigators, innovative rehabilitation education, journalism, mediation and development of competencies in the sphere of digital technologies.

With participation of SSU the following projects were supported:

”598964-EPP-1-2018-1-UK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP  Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Developing Standards, Integrity and Professionalism”, the coordinator of which is The Bath Spa University, Great Britain and the it’s implementation requires the modernization of current and new educational programs in the course of “Journalism”.

“598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP  Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine”, within the framework of which the plan is development and implementation of the new master educational programs in the course of “Physical rehabilitation and Physiotherapy” on the basis of Europe HEI experience. The project coordinator is Latvia Academy of Sports Pedagogy, Latvia.
