SSU Repository was recognized as the Best in Ukraine Once Again

Electronic Repository of SSU took the 1st place in Ukraine among the similar electronic resources of scientific publications according to the June 2015 edition of the Ranking Web of Repositories by Webometrics. In general world ranking SSU takes the 238th place among more than 2,000 candidates.

Remind that Sumy State University provides the world policy of the open access to information, and publishes its own scientific contributions through the open resources of SSU. SSU repository is valid from January 2011. There are more than 38,000 publications in the archive. The number of downloads comes over 9 million from 140 countries.

According to the Head of the Laboratory and the editor-in-chief of the Rankings Doctor Isidro F. Aguillo, the repository of scientific materials is the fountain of knowledge that generates the University. Openness and accessibility of the knowledge is sign of the modern university.
