Within implementation of the second stage of the project QUAERE “Quality Assurance System in Ukraine: Development on the Base of ENQA Standards and Guidelines” of EU Erasmus+ Programme SSU experts will work on the development of a typical model of internal education quality assurance system for Ukrainian HEIs.

Coordination meeting on the project’s implementation was held on 24-26 October at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Sumy State University was represented by the Head of the Bureau of Education Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance in Higher Education Olga Liuta, the Head of the Organizational-Methodic Department Volodymyr Yuskaiev and the Head of the International Affairs Office Kostyantyn Kyrychenko.

The representatives of consortium of universities in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Greece, the Netherlands, and also Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (Germany), Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA), the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Educational and methodical centre on QA discussed the results of implementing the project’s planned tasks, presented the structure and functioning of internal education quality assurance systems in universities, described the current state of education quality assurance system in Ukraine, and also learned from the best practices of European universities.

According to the results of the meeting the decision to develop a special course of lectures on the special characteristics and opportunities for building and development of internal quality assurance system for representatives of academic staff of the project’s partner universities was made.

The type of Erasmus+ project QUAERE “Quality Assurance System in Ukraine: Development on the Base of ENQA Standards and Guidelines” is called ‘structural measures’ that provides implementation of its results on the national level.
