The EU project “Crossmedia und Qualitätsjournalismus” of Tempus Programme

 

Sumy State University is involved into the implementation of the EU project “Crossmedia und Qualitätsjournalismus” of Tempus Programme under coordination of the University of Passau (Germany) and in cooperation with other leading European universities and Partner Universities of Ukraine and Moldova. Within this project SSU improves training programme for journalists by the introduction of new technologies of cross-media training complying with European standards.

Duration of the project: 3 years (15 October 2012 – 14 October 2015).

Aim of the project:

• implementation of European higher education technologies in a sphere of social communications, creation of international educational programmes for journalists' training;
• acquiring skills for creating information products for various platforms such as digital media, radio, television, print media by journalism students.

Project results:

• creation of modernized curricula using cross-media communication tools;
• establishment of national cross-media network stations.
