Short description of the project: 

The project shall accumulate cooperation of all the educational institutions of the city, coordinate the activity of scholars and teachers for the youth and the community to systematize their knowledge in the context of European integration, and realize the benefits and the necessity of the reforms conducted by the government. The project will help concentrate efforts of city leaders on the implementation of e-government tools, which will enable citizens to participate in public institutions and take decisions through the use of electronic technologies. The project shall ensure spreading true and competent information on the essence of the European values.  Increasing the volume of information about European achievements promotes public awareness at the regional level, which ensures the conscious support of the European integration processes by the general population of Ukraine.

The Project “The Application of Integrated Communications for Informing the Community on the Issues of European integration and e-democracy” is designed for reaching the defined goal and solving the following important issues:

1. Providing comprehensive and objective information and analytical data on the essence of European integration and European values.
2. Providing the listeners with a profound knowledge system of the experience of European countries, which have recently become members of the European community (East-European and Baltic countries), in implementation of European values and European reforms.
3. By developing and implementing e-governance tools for the participation of a wide range of civil society actors and youth in discussing issues related to the EU on the impact of the Association Agreement with the EU on the development of the city and region.
4. Formation of national consciousness in youth, active public position, ability to personally participate in the discussion of city and district management issues through the use of electronic technologies, using European experience of public education.
5. Formation of understanding of European integration in public society primarily as a process of internal reforms and internal changes in Ukraine through the introduction of principles of e-democracy.
6. Formation of the youth’s capability of intelligent and responsible choosing their future in professional activity, which shall be based on democratic European values and principles.
7. Formation of the civil society’s understanding of the European integration, first of all, as a process of internal reforms and internal changes in Ukraine.
8. Formation of a civil organization, headed by the teachers of the institute and college, which shall add its active work and expertise to promoting the European integration theme in the city.
