Participation in the QUAERE project strongly contributed to solving the actual challenges of the national system of higher education, in particular in terms of the development of a system of quality assurance both at national (external evaluation) and institutional (internal quality assurance) levels by transferring European standards for QA (main tool – ESG 2015) into the relevant processes in the sector of higher education in Ukraine.
Due to the project, the internal structures, policies, and procedures for QA have been introduced, the material and technical base of the university were improved, computer and technical equipment were acquired and the appropriate regulatory base was developed. About 50 university representatives participated in project mobilities (representatives of the departments, administrative and managerial staff), about 30 representatives upgraded their qualification with corresponding recognition in the accumulative system of advanced training operating at SumDU.
At the national level – recommendations for external evaluation (accreditation) procedures and tools have been elaborated and approved by the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine as well as by the National Agency for QA.
All the results obtained within the project were reviewed by leading European and Ukrainian experts.
