"I was lucky enough to participate in the International Erasmus+ Staff Week organized by the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw (Poland) from May 29 to June 2, 2023. This participation was beneficial and informative for our work's general outlook and specifics. It was exciting and helpful to talk with representatives of such universities as Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil), University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj (Kosovo) as well as with some Ukrainian universities. It was interesting not only to learn about the peculiarities of implementing the Erasmus+ programme in other higher educational institutions and share our experience of how grant programs are implemented at Sumy State University. During the week, we immersed ourselves in Polish culture thanks to the Polish English class organized by the representatives of the WSEiS International Affairs Office. We visited the Museum of Life in the Polish People's Republic and the Old Town. I already saw this place several years ago, but the site is so exciting and vast that the emotions and sensations capture me as if for the first time.
Also, during the week, the education systems of the participating countries, their features and differences from others were discussed and compared; we discussed the details of further cooperation within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ grant programme."

The purpose of the mobility was to hold lectures on the "International Transfer of Technologies" course for undergraduate students of WEiZ majoring in "Management".
The lectures were devoted to the current trends in the development of technology transfer globally. The lectures aroused great interest and discussion among students and teachers. The acquired knowledge will be used to update the work programs of the "International Transfer of Technologies" discipline at Sumy State University.
Participation in this program allows teachers to increase their professional competencies, improve their speaking and professional communication skills in English, and establish cooperation between faculties, teachers and students.
I was very impressed by the university's technical base, scientific and educational laboratories. The week was exciting in terms of gaining new experience and knowledge needed to improve the teaching of the course material.

I participated in Staff mobility for teaching, where I taught a class on Intercultural Communication to students of the University of Ecology and Management.
We discussed potential joint virtual classes as well as discussed possible guest lectures from teaching staff from the University of Ecology and Management for students of the Department of Management.
Obtained during mobility information about best teaching practices and approaches will be used to improve the quality of teaching for students of Sumy State University.
Overall, The experience was positive and gave me ample opportunity to learn from the best EU teaching practices I can apply during my classes at Sumy State University.

Krystyna Shechkova, a coordinator of academic mobility programmes, International Affairs Department, participated in the International Staff Week, organized by the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw within the Erasmus+ KA107 project.
The representatives from Ukraine, Armenia, and Kosovo took part in this event. The aim of the International Staff Week was to share the experience on procedures and mechanisms of academic exchanges of students and staff, develop and exchange ideas for future cooperation, and exchange of good practices related to the implementation of ICM projects.
During the mobility, the participants presented their universities and countries, educational systems, and quality assurance tools, discussed the main issues of implementation of the Erasmus+ KA107 projects and got familiar with the Polish language and Polish culture.
Krystyna Shechkova says:
“The programme of the International Staff Week was intensive and interesting. It was a great opportunity to share the experience in the implementation of the ICM projects, discuss the future cooperation between our universities, and get acquainted with interesting people. I liked the country, Warsaw city, and the University. The International Affairs Office team and other staff members are extremely friendly and supportive. I am grateful for this opportunity.”

Yuliia Opanasiuk, a senior lecturer of the Department of Management of SumDU took part in teaching mobility at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw within the Erasmus+ KA107.
The objective of the mobility was to conduct classes in “Self-Management” and “Photography” for the WSEiZ master students majoring in “Design” and “Architecture.”
The training was devoted to the goal setting and methods of achieving them. The study aroused great interest among students and teachers. The acquired knowledge will be used to update the work programs of the discipline " Self-Management " at SumDU.
Participation in this program allows teachers to increase professional competencies, improve speaking skills, and professional communication in English, and establish cooperation between faculties, teachers, and students.
Yuliia Opanasiuk says:
"I have only a positive impression of the internship. Besides, I've enjoyed the university atmosphere and the students' creative thinking! We've had a wonderful week practicing skills and sharing knowledge."

"The trip to the University of Ecology and Management in frames of Erasmus+ programme was an excellent opportunity to get new knowledge and experience and make new acquaintances with awesome people. It helped me to understand better the specifics of working with the Erasmus+ programme and to connect with other HEIs. It was pretty interesting to share the experience of running mobility programmes, in particular Erasmus+ KA1, with representatives of other universities, share the achievements of SumDU and find out the new information from the European HEIs. The meetings with the WSEiZ University management and International Affairs Office team were held within the International Erasmus+ Staff Week where the presentation of SumDU participation in Erasmus+ KA1 projects took place, as well as a discussion of the joint project results. Also, we discussed further activities for the future mobilities."

"I've spent 5 months in the University of Ecology and Management, Warsaw as an Erasmus student and it was an amazing experience. Warsaw already became a second home for me, and I met many international friends there. It was exciting to live, study and communicate with people from different countries, with different cultures and traditions. This program gave me a chance to develop my English, to know about the culture of Poland, to improve my communication skills, to get more knowledge in my sphere of studying and compare two educational systems - Ukrainian and European. For me, the main goal of mobility was to enlarge my knowledge in the sphere of management within the educational process in Ukraine. Moreover, I think it was successful because I received information, which sometimes was even new for me. I learned a lot about different approaches and ways of solving management problems, planning resources, choosing the organizational structure and people in the project team. Due to this, I saw management from another side and understood that studying it can be even more interesting. All in all, this program made a great contribution to my personal development and increased my chances to be a good specialist in the future."
