SumDU continues cooperation with Škoda company

The representatives of Czech leading company “Škoda Transportation”, namely Vice President Liumir Tesarzh, HR Manager Yakub Karel, Chief Technology Officer Alesh Stulyk, Director of “Skoda Transportation Ukraine” Kostiantyn Zhyzhko, visited Sumy State University on February 25^th.

During the meeting with the Rector of SumDU Anatoliy Vasylyev, the course of implementation of the Agreement on cooperation between the university and the Czech company was discussed, in particular within the field of SumDU students training at the enterprises of “Škoda Transportation”.

Furthermore, taking into consideration the technological capacity, high qualification of SumDU specialists, the Czech side is interested in welders’ training at the university.

Within the joint project, a laboratory of modern welding equipment was created at the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies, where more than 70 people have already been trained.

In terms of partnership deepening the Czech company intends to finance the opening of the same center of specialists’ training on the basis of Konotop Classical Professional College of SumDU.
