The main tasks of the International Grant Programmes Unit are:

• searching for international scientific and educational grant programmes, coordination of cooperation between University and international grant organizations;
• involving structural departments and university staff to the participation in international grant programmes;
• registration of grant applications and projects that are fulfilled at SumDU and also their monitoring and compliance control;
• assistance and consulting in project proposals and applications;
• carrying out presentations concerning participation in grant programs for SumDU staff and students;
• providing the university representation on websites of international grant programmes, project websites involving SumDU;
• providing additional paid services according to the main activity of the unit.
